Our Villas are located near a quite beach in Lixouri area of Kefalonia Island. Our nearby beach is sandy peacefull and quite, ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday full of sea and sun

If you are one of those preferring more fun and happy noises the, fully organized with beach bar, sunbeds, umbrellas and water sports, beach of Xi is only 400m away.

Lixouri

Lixouri is Kefalonia’s second city. It is a quiet and friendly city situated south on Paliki peninsula, of which is the capital. It is surrounded by mountains and built around a port facing Argostoli. The harbour area is alive with boats and motors departing to Argostoli. The biggest part of Lixouri was destoyed by the earthquake of 1953 and is therefore rebuild with wide streets.

Lixouri is obviously smaller than Argostoli but both have waterfronts that mix the picturesque and the ugly and each has its own central square which the centre of attention. The main square of the Lixouri is Plateia Petritsi and is surrounded by many cafes and bars that are full of animation. Some nice festivals are also hosted on this lively square. The inhabitants of Lixouri are famous for their musical capacities and the village has one of the oldest and most important orchestras of Greece.

The waterfront has a number of restaurants that vary in quality and appearance with the port at its centre. Here you will find one of the nicest buildings in the village with its pinky cream exterior.

Worth visiting is the library and the icon museum (on the coastal side in an old mansion which was survived the earthquake).
